The play-list program

Thank you for taking the time to log on to the ‘Hot On Road’ play-list voting page to register your play-list selections. Please listen to the tracks on this months play-list selection and then complete the voting form and return to ade@hotonroad.com asap.

 

On receipt of your completed voting form we will email you a link to download mp3’s of all of the tracks in this month’s play-list.

 

The play-list votes will be counted and the final play-list will be distributed within 7 days and be activated within 10 days……..history in the making!!!

 

The play-list program

The play-list program will be made up of A, B and c listed tracks pre-selected by you and the other exclusively selected members of the committee. The rotation of plays will depend upon which list any track is voted onto. The formula for play-listing is as follows:

• A-list guaranteed 3 to 4 plays per day on alternate shows, only 4 songs will make it onto the A-list
• B list guaranteed 3 to 4 plays per day on alternate shows, only 4 songs will make it onto the B-list
• C-list guarantees 3 to 4 plays per day (on alternate shows) from any one of the C-list pool of 7 songs. Which song played from the C-list pool is at the DJ’s discretion based on personal taste and requests.

Play-list committee

Each monthly play-list committee will be made up of 15 members who will each count for 1 vote via the ‘Play-list Voting Form’. Each member has the opportunity to submit 1 ‘Wild Card’ song for play-list consideration. The ‘Wild Card’ must be submitted 1 week prior to voting.

 

The monthly committee will be made up of the following:

• Station owner and 1 MVP per T.U.R.N. partner
• 2 guest MVP's per month from pool
• 7 Permanent ‘Tastemaker’ members

Stations taking part in this historic project include: Fresh FM (Leeds), Vibes FM (Hudd), Passion FM (Bristol), Lightning FM (LDN), Soul FM (LDN), DeJaVu (LDN), Sting (Birmingham).
